SaleX began as a vision in 2017, created by four passionate college students in Galway, Ireland. At the time, artificial intelligence was on the rise, and these students saw a unique opportunity to create something groundbreaking. Armed with an idea and fueled by hard work and unwavering dedication, they spent two years meticulously developing their AI chatbot.

During this initial phase, the team offered the chatbot to a few small companies for free to test its potential. The results were astonishing—businesses saw measurable improvements in efficiency and customer engagement. The word spread quickly, and by October 2019, SaleX secured its first major funding from investors, marking the official birth of the company.

However, the journey was far from easy. In 2020, the global coronavirus pandemic brought the world to a standstill. Businesses shut down, and SaleX faced what seemed like insurmountable challenges as a fledgling company. But instead of giving up, the team doubled down on their vision. They used this time to refine and perfect their product, ensuring it would be ready for the world when businesses began to recover.

Their resilience paid off. By 2022, SaleX had gained traction and started turning a profit. True to their mission, the founders reinvested every cent into the company to fuel its growth. From a humble team of four, SaleX transformed into a global enterprise with over 2,000 employees across multiple countries. The user base grew exponentially, almost tenfold each year, and today, more than 100,000 businesses rely on SaleX to scale their operations.

In April 2024, SaleX received global recognition by winning the prestigious “Global Business Innovator of the Year” award at the World Business Awards, held in Geneva. This accolade solidified its place as a leader in AI-driven sales solutions. Shortly after, the CEO of OpenAI, Sam Altman, publicly expressed interest in acquiring SaleX, sparking widespread excitement and negotiations that are now underway.

SaleX is more than just a product—it’s a testament to the vision, dedication, and ingenuity of four college students who believed they could change the world with AI.
